Guthrie’s Chicken Collierville

Extremely great customer service by Sharon and Keon. The chicken is great as well. As a first timer they made my experience wonderful. I rarely give positive reviews. I’m glad me and my daughter stopped for food on our way home. Don’t walk, run!

Food is always hot & fresh. Very polite staff at the Collierville, Tn. location. Line is always shorter than the CFA & the chicken is just as good.

We ate our Sunday dinner at Guthrie's, 2 box meals @ 9.95 each. The boxes were listed on the board as having 5 oz. each chicken fingers and fries but the serving was closer to 7 oz. each and we were filled and happy before we finished! The manager even comp'ed us a card for a free box because we had a few minutes wait. Great food, plenty of sauce -- we'll be back!

Drive thru, so uncertain about atmosphere(?), lady at the window very personable. Every order is made to order. So it might take a few mins. Breading light/ not too heavy, unique to their own. Not like every other chicken tender. Enjoy. WORTH the WAIT!!

When I am in Collierville this is where I go, simple as that, usually 1-3 times a week. Before I even mention the food, I'll just say the staff is NICE. There is one young guy in particular with a silver chain who is genuinely the most polite and professional person I have EVER seen working a register, I am dead serious. I wish I had his name, anyone working there would probably know who this is though. The rest of the staff are great too, the lady is usually at the table doing paperwork and the big guy in the back is super fun. This is my favorite chicken finger place. Even the cole slaw here is good which is truly a spectacle. The chicken is actually fresh and usually so hot it burns through the styrofoam. Occasionally you will get a small flimsy one that feels like it shouldn't even count as a whole tender, but that's just how it goes. The main area is very clean too. The only con is that the drinks are a little expensive and they can get stingy about refills. The sauce here is better than Cane's. EVERYTHING here is better than Cane's, I dont care! Cane's has a good PR team and some undeserved culture around it I do not understand. Guthrie's, especially Collierville, puts any Cane's to shame, and anyone who's been to both, I'm sure will agree. This is my happy place and the best chicken restaurant on the market HANDS DOWN.

Staff member Sharon was working the restaurant by herself when my family arrived for lunch. She had been since early that morning. She still greeted us with a smile and pleasantly took our order. She then had to cook it and bring it out for us. My wife and I want her manager and others to know what a great job of customer service that was. The food was very good. The restaurant was clean. We recommend this restaurant and Sharon to everyone.

Wish you all had a location in the St. Louis area. If all Guthrie's are as well run and friendly as this one, you'd have my business every time I wanted chicken strips...or the excellent Cole slaw.

Taking my Family out to celebrate my mom their grandmother Heavenly birthday. The staff was so welcoming, wonderful and nice. A big Thank you to Mr. Keon who took the time out to talk with baby son. My son is only 6 and told Mr. Keon he wanted to work for him ... thank you staff hot fresh food
